Project Management

Whatever your project needs, IDS Blast Finishing can provide a full service solution. We can move beyond our core services (like cleaning, deburring, finishing, peening, or surface preparation) to any of our value-added services, including welding, repairing, applying rust inhibitors, warehousing, and more. IDS Blast Finishing has extensive experience in sourcing vendors for powder coating, wet painting, liquid penetrant testing after coating removal and much more. Make one phone call and let IDS Blast Finishing be your one stop shop.

This stainless steel surgical drill case arrived at IDS with a glaring finish, fresh from the manufacturer. IDS applied a blasted, decorative matte finish on the case, reducing glare from OR lights. We took the next steps of blowing all the parts clean, packaging the cleaned parts, bar coding the finished boxes, and palletizing the bar coded boxes. We shipped them straight to the distributor with JIT, "Just in time" delivery system.

Rebuilt automotive parts can make for messy business. These greasy, corroded, chipped diesel engine oil cooler assemblies were no match for IDS Blast Finishing. We degreased the parts, taking care to not contaminate the blast abrasive, then blasted to white metal without altering any critical dimensions of the parts. We rinsed them in rust inhibitor to resist corrosion and shipped with the forecaster delivery schedule system.

These chemical totes arrived with rust, chipped paint, chemical corrosion, and bent steel. IDS blasted them, welded and replaced the bent, broken steel and applied a powder coat tough finish.

Anything more than a few linear feet of wrought iron fencing is tough to repair, clean, and paint by hand. With our range of services, this customer only had to unbolt and then rebolt his fence sections. We blasted all the rust and loose paint, then applied a powder coat tough finish, saving him many hours and corresponding labor charges.
