IDS Blast Finising is the premier facility for all your blasting needs, including: cleaning, deburring, finishing, peening and surface preparation.

We can batch process from 10 to 10 million parts. We can handle items up to 10,000 lbs. in-house, and can provide special heavy weight handling upon request. With blast room dimensions of 16’W x 15’H x 65’L, expansive loading and unloading facilities, indoor and outdoor warehousing and storage for all parts and equipment, we’ve got all your needs covered. Our blast cabinets are ideal for small or delicate jobs that require precision control and our automatic blast machines are perfect for batch processing and repeatability.

Abrasive Capabilities are Limitless.

We have a virtually limitless array of abrasives available for both soft and hard blasting applications including, aluminum oxide, coal slag, corn cob, glass beads, plastic media, silicon carbide, sodium bicarbonate, Starblast®, steel shot, and walnut shell, just to name a few. We have the experience to choose the right abrasives to thoroughly complete your job. Our trained personnel have extensive experience with small and large, low and high volume projects on both ferrous and non-ferrous materials.

In-House Laboratory Testing Ensures Quality Control.

At IDS, quality assurance is not just a program or a process; it’s an approach to business. Throughout your project, we can conduct quality control testing for surface profile to ensure that the finished product meets your specifications. We can measure for salt contamination, peening intensity via almen strip, and can conduct continuous abrasive sieve analysis to ensure that the abrasive used on your project is within specifications. We can monitor the relative humidity, compressed air temperature, dew point temperature, air temperature, and Delta T (the difference between the surface temperature and the dew point temperature) to ensure quality with every job. We measure our success by satisfying you.

Fully Controlled Environment.

All processes are conducted in a completely controlled environment. We regulate the ambient air temperature, compressed air temperature, and compressed air dew point, and other environmental factors to guard against any corrosion, rust, or contamination of your finished products.

JIT and Forecast delivery.

With the JIT (Just In Time) delivery system and forecast delivery scheduling, we have the flexibility to manage the ever changing daily needs of our customers. We can deliver completed products to our customers when they need them and can adapt to changes in delivery schedules
